Established in 2000, the China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo is jointly organised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and other ministries and People's Government of Shandong Province. It is held regularly from April 20 to May 20 every year at the Shouguang Vegetable high-tech demonstration garden. The Vegetable Expo is an annual event officially approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. It is the only international vegetable exhibition in China.
